NOC Engineer

Responsibility

Deploying and inspecting IT network systems.
Overseeing the safe installation of hardware and virtual environments.
Monitoring the performance and capacity of computer systems.
Performing regular checks on network hardware and software.
Responding to network, system alerts and hardware malfunctions.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting network and system errors.
Tracking and documenting issues and compiling incident reports.
Managing system backups and network security protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
Extensive experience working as an NOC engineer (New Graduate are welcome).
Experience in linux server operation (must have)
Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting system and network infrastructures.
Knowledge of network systems including Cisco Switch, Firewall (Fortigate, Sonicwall, Palo Alto) and Storage System.
Knowledge of server systems including Dell Server, vMware Hypervisor, and Storage System is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
